I went to Shimanami Kaido this weekend.
The Shimanami Kaido is a 60km road that connects Onomichi City in Hiroshima Prefecture and Imabari City in Ehime Prefecture with seven bridges.
The blue sea, lush green islands, and beautiful bridges weave together make for an amazing sight.
It is also famous as one of the world's leading cycling courses, and many people rode bicycles.
From Fukuyama, take an express bus to Imabari Wharf, then take the hotel's pleasure boat to Umajima.
On the way back, I rented a car from Imabari and headed north to Fukuyama while visiting the islands of the Seto Inland Sea.
It was a trip that healed my heart with the beautiful scenery of Setouchi and the lush green islands.
When I arrived at Fukuyama Station, Fukuyama Castle was lit up, and the contrast with the setting sun was very nice (^^♪
